As one of the least popular entries in the series, fans of the legendary Might and Magic series may find it a bit odd for (current franchise owner) Ubisoft to tweet about Might and Magic 9 in the year 2024, but apparently the new Ubisoft+ service includes the widely panned title as part of their new Premium tier.
Ubisoft+ subscribers will need to shell out the $17.99 Premium monthly subscription fee for access to a selection of Might and Magic classics such as Heroes 2, Heroes 3, Heroes 5, Heroes 6, Might and Magic 8, and Might and Magic 9. As of this writing Ubisoft+ Classics subscribers will not have access to Might and Magic IX as part of their less expensive $7.99 per month subscription packages.
If the monthly subscription is a little steep for your taste, most of these titles can also be purchased from GOG or Steam for a cheaper price, with the added benefit of actual ownership of the games. Ubisoft+ includes a ton of other games in their subscription offerings, but let’s be honest, you’re here for Might and Magic.
