The Steam “Turn Based RPG Fest” is here!

Steam is hosting its Turn Based RPG Fest from September 30 through October 7th and we are happy to report that there are many Free Roam Blobber games available!

The team at FreeRoamBlobber.com has curated a list for gamers to easily find these blobber style games. This list only includes titles that feature free roam movement and all games featured as part of the event have turn based combat (hence the name of the fest).

There are also a ton of other games in the festival so if you are a fan of Turn Based RPGs make sure to check them out!

Old School RPG

This is a new title that we discovered from this festival and we have added it to our database. Released on August 12, 2024, Old School RPG currently sits at Positive reviews.

This game includes 14 classes and 13 races. We will definitely be playing this one!

The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut

The Bards Tale IV was released in August 2019 and is the most polished of the free roam blobbers features in the fest. It currently has Mostly Positive reviews on steam.

Prices vary on edition, but no discounts are available as part of this event.

Aledorn

This was another recent addition to our game database. The game is not available yet, but there is a free demo! Aledorn features tactical turn based combat and it’s environments are looking very polished.

Monsters of Mican

Monsters of Mican has been featured on this website before and even have an interview with the developer you can read here! Monsters of Mican originally came out on Epic Game Store and was recently released on Steam March 25, 2024. It currently has a Positive review score on Steam. This is a very silly game and the developer has been constantly updating it!
