Taking inspiration from strategic classics like Betrayal at Krondor, the tactical combat in these games offers a bird’s-eye view of the battlefield, often laid out on a grid of hexes or squares, with each character taking their turn in the fray.

Call of Saregnar

Call of Saregnar features 2 characters (the minimum required for a blob) and features a beautiful retro inspired art style. There is a lot of hype behind this one as the demo seemed very promising. You can wishlist it now on steam!

Archaelund

Archaelund is being created by the developers of the very popular mobile RPG Exiled Kingdoms. It features a party of 4 and impressive modern graphics. This game is already out in Early Access on Steam and is sitting at very positive reviews.

Betrayal in Antara

Not a sequel to Betrayal at Krondor due to licensing issues, Dynamix released a new game set in a new world in the updated engine.
