The Steam “Next Fest” celebrates upcoming games with free demos and developer live streams from June 10th to June 17th 2024.

We did a deep dive of the offerings for any Free Roam Blobber games that we could find!

This year we are finally in luck, as there are two exciting demos available in our favorite game genre as part of Steam’s Next Fest 2024.

Wardens of Chaos

The highly anticipated Wardens of Chaos has a demo available in the Steam Next Fest 2024 event.

We checked in with the developer of this title and he claimed that someone has already played the Wardens of Chaos demo for 14+ hours!

Wardens of Chaos features real time combat and a unique art style. You can read our exclusive interview with the developer discussing the game here.

There will also be 2 developer live steam events that you can tune into on the Steam Next Fest page:
1. Friday June 14 9:00 PM EST ( Saturday June 15 01:00 AM GMT)
2. Saturday June 15 03:00 AM EST (Saturday June 15 07:00 PM GMT)

The Magic World 2: Curse of the Ancients

The Magic Worlds 2 is a new project on our radar. This game is a sequel to a grid based blobber The Magic Worlds, released in 2023.

The Magic worlds 2 features real-time combat and has animated portraits that are very reminiscent of our all-time-favorite CRPG series Might and Magic 6 – 9.

Players may have differing opinions about the game’s use of some AI created images, as fully disclosed on its official Steam page. From our perspective, though, the unique graphics style is one of the game’s most interesting and exciting features.

The Magic Worlds 2 says it will be releasing in 2024, with the demo available now as part of Next Fest 2024! We have also added it to our games directory and will be keeping an eye out for future updates from this promising project.
