Back in 2023, we spotted a new domain registration for Might and Magic: Fates, and now we finally have some official news.

Unfortunately, it’s not the free roam blobber RPG many of us were hoping for — instead, Ubisoft has revealed that Might and Magic: Fates will be a free to play trading card game for PC and Mobile. Details are still sparse, but a teaser trailer has been released, offering a first look at the game’s direction:

Ubisoft appears to be partnering with Immutable, a company known for its work in the Web3 space. It’s not yet clear how this collaboration will impact the gameplay experience, but here’s hoping it doesn’t compromise the overall quality.

Might & Magic: Fates is a free-to-play card game at its core, with an optional Web3 layer that unlocks digital ownership for players who want it.
