Heroes of Might and Magic is celebrating 30 years of turn based tactical excellence this year! (Can you believe it?)
While there has not been any updates about the potential for a new free roam blobber or grid based entry into the series, Might and Magic fans worldwide can rejoice with the celebratory activities around the Heroes 30 year anniversary.

Olden Era Demo: Available Now!
Of the many releases and activities surrounding the 30th anniversary, the most exciting announcement (in our humble opinion) is the demo for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era!
The FreeRoamBlobber.com team had a chance to playtest the Olden Era demo and – frankly – we’re obsessed. After hours and hours spent playing the demo we can confidently say that Olden Era seems to be well on its way to becoming a worthy successor to the Heroes franchise.
Heroes of Might and Magic: Retrospective Book and Documentary
Another particularly exciting announcement is the official 30th anniversary retrospective book now available for pre-order from Dark Horse comics!

In addition to the retrospective book, Ubisoft announced the release of an official documentary titled “Legacy of Heroes – a Heroes of Might and Magic” released on October 11th 2025.
The documentary will be release on Ubisoft’s official YouTube channel, and we cannot wait to watch!
